Bullying is not ok

What is bullying?

Bullying is when someone tries to make you feel bad over and over.

They might do this by calling you names, taking something of yours, swearing at you, or kicking or pushing you.

A few things to remember

It’s NOT your fault!

Nobody deserves to be bullied.

Sometimes people bully others because they are having a hard time themselves.

What can I do?

DON’T try to hurt the person back as that can make things worse.

DO walk away and try to stay calm.

Take a few deep breaths or count to 10.

Tell someone what's happening

Talk to a parent, a teacher or a Kids Helpline counsellor about the bullying.

They can help you work out what to do about it.

You don’t have to deal with it alone.
