This Kids Helpline Day we're asking everyone to do one simple thing: tell a young person Kids Helpline is here for them.
We’re here for young people 24/7, which is why we chose the 24th day of the 7th month as Kids Helpline Day.
But they can't reach out for help they don't know exists. Which is why we're asking for your help.
A simple conversation today could become the reason they reach out tomorrow.

Over the last 35 years, Kids Helpline has answered more than 9 million calls of children and young people across Australia.
For many of those kids and teens who connect with us, the suggestion came from an adult they trust.
By telling young people you know about Kids Helpline – even if they don’t need help yet – you let them know that support is available, and it’s ok to get help.
Whether you're a parent, teacher, coach, librarian, grandparent... the friendly adult next door - we all play a powerful role in spreading the word about Kids Helpline.

You don’t need a megaphone or a social media following. Sometimes it’s as simple as starting a conversation, sharing Kids Helpline’s website, or sticking up a poster where young people will see it.

Kids Helpline is free for young people, always. But it’s a costly service to run.
Nearly half of Kids Helpline’s funding comes from the community. We can’t do this without you!
