We are seeking counsellors interested in making a difference in the lives of children and young people. If you have a degree in psychology, counselling or a related discipline and a minimum of one year's experience in counselling, you may be eligible to apply!

A day in the life of a counsellor...
"Dear diary, today I worked a 2pm-10pm shift.
After quickly checking my work emails, I started off my shift providing support on WebChat with a young person I speak with in an ongoing way. We have been connecting regularly for over 6 months now, and it has been such a privilege to support them through their mental health experiences!
I then took some calls out of the queue. I received a range of calls - some were testing the service, some were asking for information - before I had a great chat with a young person who is going through a breakup.
Things were a little quieter, so I replied to some counselling emails, before having my dinner break.
After dinner, I answered a call out of the queue. The young person was experiencing some risk. Fortunately, a supervisor supported me to support them and everything turned out ok. I had a great debrief with the supervisor afterwards, which really helped support me and gave me a chance to reflect on my counselling practice.
Finishing my notes took me to the end of the shift. All in all, a pretty good shift!"

The Brisbane Office is located close to the CBD and is easily accessible by train, bus and CityCat.
A short walk from a huge range of restaurants, there are ample lunch and dinner options.
The site itself includes a full working kitchen and showering amenities. The counselling offices include a kitchenette with free tea and coffee, a break room where counsellors can rest or sleep and free entertainment including X-box and games. There is also a very active social club, celebrating events with decorations, food and fun activities.
This is a 24/7 location. Free, secure parking is available for counsellors working after hours.

Sydney, New South Wales
The NSW Office is located in Western Sydney and is easily accessible by public transport.
A short walk from a Westfield Shopping Centre, there are a range of great shops and restaurants available close by.
The site itself includes a kitchenette and break room, free tea and coffee and secure parking for those working after hours.
The site office is operational from 8am to midnight, 7 days per week.
