First call was the scariest

I first rang Kids Helpline nearly 4 years ago. That first call was the scariest thing - talking to someone unknown on the other end of the phone, someone who I was opening up to. When I first called things were really hard. I was in a really crappy place in life and home life was sucky. The lady on the other end of the phone was amazing. The way she talks to me like a person, someone who I have a lot of trust in, someone who I have got a really good connection with. She has helped me get where I am today. She's been there for a lot. I still struggle with self harm and suicide thoughts but with the help of this lady it's getting better. I'm dreading turning 25 as I wont be able to talk to her...Thanks Kids Helpline!
