Was on heavy drugs

Well my story hmm..... I have to say I used to be a really bad drug and alcohol freak. i'm not proud of it... i was either high or drunk every day. it was starting to rule my life.
i had alot of things happen to me in the past which resulted in me making the worst choice that i had ever made by doing drugs and drinking alcohol....
i was on heavy drugs but with the help of Kids Helpline - two counsellors mainly - they helped me through the hard times.
i managed to go four days with out drugs or alcohol i didn't think i could do it. well i was correct. i went out with my mates and well i got high. But Kids Helpline weren't judgemental. they just talked me through the reasons why i did it and help me out...
a few months later i was getting better.... but i still would do it occasionally but i still hadn't stopped. but it's been close to 12 months now and I'm sober as can be. no drugs no alcohol nothing. i've gone back to myself. i'm studying again. i'm living life to the fullest. i'm on a natural high - not something u get from smokin grass or poppin pills and i have to say it feeeeeeels so good not to be like i was!!!
sure i still have issues but i'm slowly finding other ways to resolve them. i don't call Kids Helpline as much as i used to because I'm trying to do it in my own time. i know it aint guna sort out over night but it took me a long time to figure that out...
but i know that if it gets too hard for me or even if it goes really well i can call Kids Helpline and talk to them. cause like u may not believe them, or u might only half believe what they say, but seriously, they do know what they are talkin bout - most of the time haha.
But nah, seriously they helped me a lot. i probably would be sent to rehab by now or in jail if it wasn't for Kids Helpline and i thank them so much 'cause they helped me start to get my life back on track.... but yeah i think that's all i gotta say... oh wait GO KIDS HELPLINE U ROCK!!!!!!!......
