Friends with bully

I was in sixth grade when the harassment started. I was best friends with a girl who was Miss Popular, and I was her sidekick I guess. We would walk around and talk and she would push people and call them names, while I stood in the background feeling sorry for the person being bullied. I couldn't take it anymore.
She said I wasn't mean enough and that I needed to ditch another of my best, nice friends. I felt sorry for her because she was truly my best friend. I couldn't ditch her, she's my best friend. I told the popular friend I couldn't do it. She said, "Fine, you will regret this day!" Then she spread rumours about me being pregnant. I was still picked on all sixth and seventh grade so this year I decided to be homeschooled. Best decision ever.
