Abused by step father

When I was 16 I was sexually abused by my step father. It was really hard to deal with because I tried to talk to my mother but at first she just wouldn't believe me. So I went and rang my nana and told her what happened to me and she believed me.
So 2 hours later my mother came and told me that she now believed me and that she was sorry. She broke up with my stepdad and he is no longer living with us any more.
So I rang Kids Helpline and they listened and completely understood what I was going through. Thank you Kids Helpline.
