Mum and dad hurting me (11 year old girl)
I didn't have anyone to talk to about what my mum was doing to me so I rang Kids Helpline. Mum said that no one likes me and she always tells me to go away. About a month ago, she hit me when she got mad. My dad works away a lot and when he came home he got really mad and would yell at me for nothing. He's hurt me a couple of times. Mum and dad wouldn't buy me any new clothes and I was a bit sad because my old ones were a bit small.
I love my grandma. She's really nice and looks after me when I feel scared or sometimes when I'm sick because mum and dad don't care. I call Kids Helpline when things are bad and they give me good ideas about stuff I can do so that I feel better and help myself.
