Mean boy in my class (10 year old girl)

There was a mean boy in my class and he was really mean. My nanna told me to stay away from him, but he kept putting me down. I decided to talk to my mum and she said she would talk to the teacher. The teacher asked why the boy was doing it and he said he was having tough times at home. So we started to understand each other. Now I'm not bullied. :)
