The way you feel and think about your body can affect the way you feel about yourself as a whole
Sometimes people say hurtful things about the way that other people look, like:
- you're too skinny!
- you're too fat!
- you're too short (or too tall)!
- I don't like your hair!
That's not OK!
It can make people feel bad about themselves. It's not really cool to comment about how other kids look. If someone said something hurtful about the way you looked, how would it make you feel? What would you tell yourself? Who would you talk to? How would you make yourself feel better if what someone said made you feel bad?
