Make cyberspace a better place for your students
These days, Australian students live in a digital world. Whilst this world is an amazing source of entertainment, information and connection, they need to learn how to avoid the dangers of its misuse.
Kids Helpline and our partner Optus have developed a ready-made lesson plan pack to help you educate your students about cyberbullying and sexting.
There are three half-hour lessons suitable for Years 3-6 (Cyberbullying - Intro), Years 7-9 (Cyberbullying - Advanced) and Years 10-12 (Sexting). We know how busy the academic year is, however, we ask you to try and find time in your curriculum to teach these important lessons.
We're confident that with these lesson plans you can help erase cyberbullying from your school and make cyberspace a better place for your students.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact Kids Helpline Administration on 07 3369 1588.
